Do not use the TRIA System if you are African-American, East Indian, Native American, or Pacific Islander. These skin types may absorb too much laser light, which can cause skin injury.

Note also that the TRIA System is not to be used on the following areas:•Anywhere on above the neck. These areas may have sensitive skin and a high hair density, which can result in skin injury. •On or around the eyes, as this can result in eye injury. •On the nipples, anus, or genitals. These areas may have sensitive skin and a darker skin tone, which can result in skin injury. •And lastly, laser hair removal works only on light brown to dark hair. Hair that is white, gray, red, or blond does not have enough pigment to absorb the laser light. As a result, the TRIA System is not effective in the treatment of white, gray, red, and blond hair.
